"Possibly newly identified model. This design appears to represent a step between Pelican and Gloriana. Compare with untitled and undated penciled framing plan WRDT08_08100 and with sloop / catyawl sailplan and sections WRDT08_08150 which show a perfect match with this model." "Compare also with entry in Design Book No. 2 dated December 10, 1890: 'Weighing of two preliminary models for 90 footers sloops made recetnly. Scale 1/48th. A. Length overall 117ft, w.l. 89 1/2ft, beam 24ft 5in, .... B ...'. At a scale of 1:48 this model appears to represent a boat with an LOA of 110ft 9in.
