PRIVATEER was totally restored for the owner by Alba Briggs of Eastport, ME. She has been actively sailed and maintained by the owner in Connecticut and Maine waters. In 2004 she won the Carlton Pinheiro award at the Herreshoff Rendezvous as the best restoration of any original Herreshoff boat present. She sails and occasionally competes under her original sail number of "16".
