The boat has been out of the water since 2000. It is in extremely poor condition and needs a total rebuild. It was originally intended for Mallinckrodt's son, who was killed n an airplane accident. She was stored next to a building that was used to house the machinery and materials for her restoration. That building burned to the ground and the boat was badly scorched pretty on the port side. Her decks were in poor condition before the fire.
