This boat was brokered by Charlie Dhyse of Maine Coast Boathouse. The boat is currently waiting restoration by the owner. It may have been a racing champion in Marblehead in the 1950’s.
2018.12.26: The record of this boat is being reviewed and more of the provenance is being filled in: Charles C. Pyne was the owner of a 12½ "Rambler" in Marblehead and sailed out of the Eastern Yacht Club from the mid-50s until his death in 1962. The boat was purchased from Wilson Palmer of Marblehead, also an EYC member, who owned her from early 1940s and possibly earlier. (source: email - Charles Pyne)
2019.01.15: According to the Eastern Yacht Club annual books, Rambler was owned by Wilson Palmer 1950-1958 and Charles C. Pyne 1959-1962. She is not listed before 1950 or after 1962. (source: email - Charles Pyne))
Additional updates will be added once more details are available.
