07/24/2017: Magic was purchased by Charles F and Janet Barbour in August 2016. She is now located in Wickford, RI. Over the Winter of 2016, George W Zachorne did more restoration work, to include a new transom and rudder, corrected for the time the boat was constructed, as well as recanvasing the afterdeck. She also has new sails, from Gambell & Hunter. The owners have the original builders plate. (source: email)

[previous notes - 10/22/2003: Eyesweet is owned by Douglas Viehmann and Ann Vivian of Burlington, VT, and sailed by David Vivian of Saunderstown, RI. George W. Zachorne, Jr. did a conservative restoration on her between 1996-98. David wanted to preserve as much of the original wood as practical. Her original name was Little Lady and was delivered to Bristol, MA. The builder's plate is kept in a safe deposit box in Vermont. She was sailed from the Lake Champlain Yacht Club from 1984 until 1996, underwent George’s two year re-build, and was re-launched in July 1998 at the Saunderstown Yacht Club. Doug and Ann purchased her in September 1983 from a young woman sailmaker in Bristol, MA who had owned her for three years.]
