The current owners bought the boat in Maine. She had been altered with a ferro-cement hull in 1978, schooner rig, and cabin house. She was fitted out in Boothbay Harbor prior to the trans-Atlantic trip to the Mediterranean. Vixen II currently sees charter service in the Mediterranean. She served the US Navy in 1942.
