Neith has been restored several times: 1980 - 1982, 1983 - 1985 by MPG, and again in 1993.
In March 1970, Richard Jacobson, Dave Chicovsky, and Tom
Chicovsky jointly purchased Neith. The moss covered hull, with it's
mast lying in a field, was found moored outside of Mylor Harbor, near
the Lizard Rocks,in the Westernmost part of Cornwall England. We were
told the yacht had been lying there for 10 years since it's owner,
"the banker Coots" had abandoned it and fled the country for South
Africa, "just ahead of the bank examiners." (source - THR form 2018.02.16)
