"Boat for 46ft w. l. Cutter. Herreshoff Mfg. Co. April 22, [18]91. Bristol, R. I. Frames made 3/4 size of Coquina, but with a different sheer line. Frame spaces, 6"; timbers 9/16" sq; planking 1/4" full cedar. Deduct in making moulds 13/16". Timbers white oak 9/16" sq, stem hackmatac. Keel 7/8" x 1 5/16"; aprox. 1/2" x 2 1/2". Stern 3/4" oak; thwarts 3/4" x 7" mahogany. Thwart stringers white oak 5/16" x 7/8". Sheer-streak white oak 3" x 7/8" x 5/16". Gunwhale stringer white oak 5/16" x 2 1/2", floor boards 5/16" cedar. Deck 5/16" cedar. Deck beams 1/2" x 1" white pine. [Job] 5927 Nov - [19]09 for (#694) [Zara] Sheer raised [unreadable] [as per notes on drawing 28-27]." (Source: van der Linde, Claas. "This vessel's contract date was determined from notes on the original plan. Plan 28-27 (formerly 75-14) from which this boat was built was drawn 1891-04-22. The vessel's job number 5427 was assigned ca. 1909-11-19. #594s Zara (for which this vessel was built) was contracted for 1902-10-03.
